Building California Cool Hype for the Divers Seventy-Five

Collective Horology, collaborative luxury watch makers, were in need of motion graphic support to help launch a funky new California-inspired watch: The Divers "Seventy-Five".

We worked directly with the lovely/awesome/brilliant owners of Collective, Gabe and Asher, and looked to 1970s California design aesthetics to help direct the look of the campaign. We also referenced 1970s movie and TV title design from Dr. No to The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and by combining the these type references with the beachy California surfer vibes, were able to create an updated, modern aesthetic that would grab attention.

The 5 videos we created (2 teasers and 3 reveals) built hype around the new collaborative watch, drove sign-ups and resulted in the Divers Seventy-Five selling out in record time.
