CO Lottery

CO Lotto+ got an upgrade in 2019 and is now called CO Lotto+ Now with Plus.  So naturally they needed a video to help explain how to play the new and improved game.

To determine the look and feel, we leveraged the CO Lottery's Lotto+ style guide and found inspiration in all things Colorado. We had a lot of fun with the character design in this one, adding gold necklaces, blinged-out brown bears, and make-it-rain mooses wherever possible.

Frame by Frame Behind the Scenes

Here's a breakdown of how we animated the salmon jump at the beginning and end of the video. We started by roughing out the timing in Rough Animator (iPad) and then we jumped into Animate and used our storyboard illustrations as the guides and key poses. Finally, we animated the dollar sign "bling" in Cinema4D, to give more accurate depth and dimension. Once the animation was completed, we exported an image sequence and popped it into AE. Yippee!
